Where did the curriculum originate?
Drawing from 33 years of experience leading diverse organizations from startups to Fortune 100 companies, Darin LeGrange founded the Resolved Leadership Academy with input from esteemed business professionals and insights from experts in non-profit, education, and human psychology sectors. Today, after thousands have benefited from its Servant Leadership principles, the program has evolved into the refined and cohesive structure that exists now.
What company support is required for a class?
While the class is focused on the improvement of the individual and their leadership awareness, the company will provide ongoing commitment and support to the class through senior leadership involvement from time to time, and required attendance at capstone and team project presentations. It is critical that the company remain involved to support the overall cultural and leadership change desired.
Can individuals sign up for a class?
No. The Academy is set up to bring together students from within a single company in order to create an organizational development environment, while teaching the individual about service and influence within a leadership model.
How many students are included in each class?
10-20 students are the required number for a class. The optimal number is 15, but the class can be held with more (20) or less (10) based on organizational size. The class activities and challenges are set up in a fashion that a multiple of five is required.
How demanding is the student workload?
Classes meet monthly for a half or full day, depending on the session. Attendance is vital. The course promotes peer learning and hands-on interaction over lectures. After-class work complements each session, designed to be manageable alongside a full-time job.
Where are the class sessions held?
This is up to the organization. The sessions are in-person, in order to facilitate the organizational development aspect of the class. Typically, these sessions are held at a corporate office location(s). Remote/video-based options are available but not recommended.
How long does the class last?
The class takes between 8 and 12 months to complete. This depends on the modules selected by the organization.
Who are the instructors of the class?
Darin LeGrange is the primary instructor of the class and its sessions. Jordan McDaniel is a secondary instructor and provides in classroom support for each cohort. Industry experts are brought into sessions to provide different perspective on key topics within the class sessions.
What's the cost per module?
Costs are based on the chosen modules (1 or 2) and calculated per student. Organizations that select both modules upfront (recommended) receive a discount. The fee includes monthly sessions for the entire course, course materials, and travel expenses for instructors and facilitators.
